Pediatric care
Caring for children at home, together with parents
When a child has medical needs or a disability, home is often the best place to grow, play and heal. We provide in-home care that fits your child and your family’s daily life.
What’s included
Support for your child and your family
Your child’s care plan depends on their needs and, for nursing care, on their physician’s orders. Care can include:
Skilled nursing
Nursing care at home under your child’s physician’s orders, which may include:
- Medication management
- Monitoring health and vital signs
- Care related to your child’s medical needs
- Teaching parents and family members
Personal care support
Help with the routines of the day, so your child is comfortable and cared for:
- Bathing, dressing and personal care
- Mealtimes and feeding support
- Mobility and positioning
- Play, activities and companionship
Family-centered
Care planned around your family
You know your child best. We plan care with you, respect your routines and keep you informed.
Planning with parents
We listen to what matters to your family and build the care plan around your child’s needs and your household.
School-day routines
Care can fit around mornings before school, afternoons after school and the evening routine at home.
Respite for parents
Caring for a child with extra needs takes a lot of energy. Respite care gives parents time to rest, work or spend time with other children.
Who it helps
